I am thinking back to Vijay in his teenage years, full of life, full of promise, and carrying that unforgettable spark in his eyes. As life moved forward, we didn’t stay closely connected. He went on to become a man, a husband, a father — building a world of his own. Even though I wasn’t part of those chapters, knowing that he carried those responsibilities with love and dedication fills me with quiet respect. It is heartbreaking to know that Vijay has left us at just 42. A life cut short, a journey interrupted far too soon. But the teenager I remember, and the man he became — all of them deserve to be honoured. I carry the memory of young Vijay with warmth, and I honour the man he grew into, even from a distance. May his soul rest in peace, surrounded by love, light, and the blessings of all who knew him. Gone too soon, but never Sumathy Akka

At HCL, Sujan was one of those people who could make even the hardest workdays feel lighter. He always knew how to make us laugh and somehow made work that little bit more bearable. We used to talk about AR Rahman’s music, and I’ll always remember our conversations about Hariharan and the way he sings with so much emotion — stretching out those notes with the dramatic “aaahhh…” From then on, whenever I hear Hariharan, I think of Sujan trying to sing exactly like that. It’s funny how the smallest memories can stay with you forever. He even taught me how to use the DJ app. He told me he was a part-time DJ, I wanted to learn the trade. He really connected with music and introduced me new songs, and those little moments are memories I’ll always treasure. I watched from afar as life unfolded for him — seeing him marry the girl of his dreams, the girl he spoke about so much at work, and then seeing him become a father to three beautiful children. It genuinely felt like he had found his happy ever after. I’m so sorry, Sujan, that I didn’t keep in touch. I wish I had. Life moves on, people lose touch, and we always think there will be another day to reconnect. I never imagined there wouldn’t be. You will always remain in my heart and in my memories. And now, whenever I hear those songs, especially Hariharan, I know I’ll think of you and smile. Rest peacefully, Sujan. You will be remembered, always. ❤️ Mathu Tee

Vijay brother, I had known you for only a short period of time, but the way you respected and treated everyone left a lasting impression on me. Your kindness and humanity are qualities I will remember for years to come. I still can’t believe that you are no longer with us. You will be deeply missed, but your kindness, warmth, and beautiful memories will remain in our hearts forever. Rest in peace, Vijay brother. You will never be forgotten.

Aathan, I honestly don’t even know where to begin. Your passing was so sudden, and it still doesn’t feel real that you’re no longer here. When I think back to our childhood, I think of all the good memories we shared. Life took us in different directions as we got older, but losing you has made me realise how much you’ve always meant to me. I still remember being 12 or 13 and being so shy and quiet. You would always come talk to me, listen to me, and make me feel comfortable just being myself. You had this way of making people feel good and giving them confidence without even realising you were doing it. You were such a unique and special cousin. So kind, caring, and always there for others. And honestly, I wish I had told you more while you were here. I wish I had told you how much I appreciated you and how special you were to me. And then there was your style, the way you talked, your tone, your personality… Everything about you was so uniquely you. You really were the superstar of the family! We’re going to miss you so much, Athan. I wish we had more time to talk, laugh together, and create more memories. So today, I simply want to tell you what I may not have said enough while you were here: Thank you for being a part of my life. I will never forget you. ♥️ One day, we’ll share a laugh again. Your maachal, Chalinie

My tribute to my brother-in-law, Vijay ❤️ Vijay was a wonderful human being, and I miss him so much. He always respected me and treated me like his own sister. Sujan… It’s a huge loss to lose someone like you. I honestly never imagined I would have to write a message like this about you. You made my first steps in the UK so much easier. From the very beginning, you were there to help me and support me through those first years, all the way until I eventually moved to London. Your hard work, kindness and the way you always looked after me. You were always someone I could talk to! A great listener, a genuinely kind person, and, beyond everything work-related, a great friend. We had so many good conversations and memories that I will always remember. Thank you for everything you did for me and for so many others. I will always be grateful that our paths crossed. You will be truly, truly missed, Sujan. Rest in peace, my friend. ❤️

In 2009, when I first entered the healthcare industry, I had no idea how the industry worked. Sujan was the first person who took me under his wing and taught me everything from scratch. His knowledge, patience, support and guidance played a huge role in shaping my career. Over the years, everything he taught me became a foundation for my growth. Today, I work as a Vice President and I wouldn't have reached this stage in my career without his support and guidance. I live in India, I was fortunate enough to meet Sujan few times whenever I travelled to the UK. I still remember one particular evening when he invited me to his family get-together. After dinner, I was running late and despite the late hour, Sujan and his wife personally drove me all the way to London to drop me off. That small gesture has stayed with me all these years because it showed the kind of person he was —warm, caring & generous. I still remember how incredibly happy he was when his first son Veera was born. I don't call many people as brother, but Sujan was one of those very few. He was my great mentor, my guru and one of the most influential people in my professional and personal life. I pray that God gives your wife, your children and the entire family immense strength and courage to get through this unimaginable loss. I will miss you deeply my brother. May your soul rest in peace. You will always be remembered, respected and forever missed.

Vijay was introduced to me as a client, but from the day I first spoke to him, he became like a brother to me. I never got the chance to meet him face to face, but we had numerous conversations over the years. His voice was very childish and innocent, and he always spoke calmly. He was a very well mannered and gentle gentleman. What I remember most about Vijay is the warmth and kindness in the way he spoke. Even though our relationship started professionally, it slowly became much more personal. Sometimes, you don't need to meet someone in person to feel a connection with them. It is difficult to accept that someone I had spoken to and shared so many conversations with is no longer with us. I will always remember him with great affection and respect, not as a client, but as a brother and a wonderful human being. His memories will remain with me, and I feel privileged to have known him.

That beautiful smile, that welcoming way, The kind of person who brightened your day. A heart made of gold, so generous and true, Sujan, there really was no one like you. You welcomed each person with kindness and care, And somehow brought warmth just by being there. With laughter and friendship so freely you gave, It’s those little moments our memories will save. It’s hard to accept that you’ve suddenly gone, But everything you gave us will always live on. The memories we made will remain ever strong, In the hearts of us all, where they truly belong. Though saying goodbye brings a sadness so deep, The love that you gave us is ours now to keep. And whenever we think of the friend that we knew, We’ll smile through our tears and remember you. ❤️

Vijay… all I can think nowadays is how empty everything feels without you. Eighteen years ago, you promised our cousin Thadsha that you’d look after me in London — and now you’re gone. You have many closer cousins, but I’m so proud that people we know recognise me as your cousin too. It meant more than you ever knew, as I had no family in this country. Thank you for even mentioning me as your cousin on the Facebook relatives section. I take it as an honour. When I walk down memory lane — I mean since 2008 — I still remember how you made me go crazy about “first day, first show Tamil movie releases,” just like you. Especially the day I bunked lectures and raced you to get tickets for Enthiran first day first show at Cineworld Wandsworth. And how we started using the word “DOT” at the end of our messages after watching that movie. I remember your love for music… especially the day you made me listen to “Malayil Yaaro” on repeat when Swarnalatha passed away. I still remember — that was the only day I ever heard you speak in a truly sad way. I remember you pushing me on playground swings when I was down, pizza parties with our friends, riverside walks, especially our usual hangout spot at Brent Reservoir, your lunch‑break catch‑ups at the riverside near St Paul’s. I know your love for riversides… every place we went carries your memories now. Those days you always made sure I reached home safe. You were protective in the quietest, realest way. I don’t have many photos of us, but I carry so many memories from our early 20s and my late teens. I thought I had enough time with you. I thought we would grow old together. Machii (that’s how you always called me)… Machii, you left a hole in my life nothing can fill. My last memory of you is your cooking, kids’ movie night, bowling, five kids running around us at the shopping centre. You were full of life. None of us knew it would be the last time. And our very last phone call two months ago, where you said you were checking up on me. Thank you for always making sure that I’m ok. I miss you more than words can carry. I think about you now more than I ever did before! A part of me is forever lost with you, Machi! Rest in peace, Machii… until I hang around with you again by a riverside in heaven. Hugs.

Chinna Mama There are some losses that come with a particular kind of sadness. Chinna mama was someone who mattered, and although life took us in different directions and we hadn’t spoken in a long time, I will always carry the regret that we never found our way back to one another. It feels like a truly missed opportunity. I think about his children, and my heart goes out to them. I hope they know how deeply their father was loved, how much his life meant to those around him, and that his memory will continue through them, in their stories, their mannerisms, their laughter, and the memories they hold close. Sometimes we tell ourselves there will be another chance to make that call, have that conversation, or simply say, “I’m thinking of you.” Sadly, we don't always get that chance. I wish I had reached out. I wish we had spoken again. But I choose to remember my Mama with love, rather than let regret be the only thing I carry. Rest peacefully, Chinna Mama. You will be missed, and I’m sorry we didn’t have the chance to find our way back to each other. Vaaheesan

Vijay, I know you are watching us from above, so I am saying this directly to you. I just realised that I have known you from the time you were a teenager! I became Vanitha's friend, but then ended up becoming close to your whole family. Actually, in my head & heart, you all became my extended family. 😍 The memories that stand out for me are your beautiful smile & your chirpy personality. I don't think I have ever seen you cross. I admire the adventurous, doting uncle who sprung surprises on the nephews & niece for their parties. And some of my highlights have been partnering with you to entertain the room full of (or should I say a school full of!) children that attended your nephews' parties. We were both like Ant & Dec (the Tamil version). I can't believe you are gone & it is heartbreaking. But what matters is the memories people leave behind. You have left your legacy behind, and that will be cherished. You will always remain a தம்பி to me. I believe in the circle of life & I hope in my next ஜன்மம், I am blessed to be your actual அக்கா as well. 🫠 With all my love! Krishanthy அக்கா

Sujan - It is shocking and heartbreaking to hear this news. I still remember my first day in London when I met you. You were such a warm, kind and amazing person. Thank you for taking me to an Indian restaurant and for the beautiful memories we during my visit to the London office. I will always remember our conversations about family and work, your birthday poems, emails, amazing sense of humour and the laughter you brought to everyone. Thank you for all the learning, kindness and wonderful memories. I cannot believe you have gone too soon. May your soul Rest in Peace, and may God give strength and comfort to your family.

To My Dear Sujan Thambi, It is so difficult to believe that I am writing these words to you. How could we ever have imagined that you would leave us at just 42? Your passing has left us shocked, heartbroken and struggling to understand how someone so young, so full of life and with so much ahead of him could be taken from us so suddenly. I have known you since you were just 12 years old. I can still remember you as that adorable, lovely and kind hearted little boy. Even at such a young age, you stood out for your intelligence and your wonderful nature. You were always such a bright and talented child, and I remember how proud we all were when we heard about your outstanding GCSE results. I still remember advising you to study medicine because you were so talented and capable. Although life eventually took you along a different career path, you continued to excel in everything you did. Watching you grow from that bright young boy into the accomplished man you became was something very special. Even though I only saw you now and then, the affection between us never changed. You were never just my friends little brother. To me, you were my Thambi, just as you were to your sisters. And I always felt that you thought of me as your Akka too. You were so thoughtful and warm-hearted. You never failed to remember me, and I will always cherish how you would invite me to your family occasions. Those invitations meant more than you probably ever realised. They were a reflection of the lovely person you were, someone who valued family, friendships and the people who cared about you. Lately, I have found myself looking back through our old messages. I see my messages asking, "How are you, Thambi?" and your replies, and I find myself looking at those simple conversations through tears. Words that once seemed so ordinary have suddenly become precious memories. I never imagined that one day I would be reading those messages knowing that I could no longer send you another one, hear your reply, or ask you how you are. Sujan, your life may have been far too short, but you touched so many lives in the years you were given. You leave behind not only a beautiful family who will love and miss you forever, but also countless memories in the hearts of everyone fortunate enough to have known you. I feel privileged to have known you from the age of 12 and to have watched that lovely little boy grow into the wonderful man you became. I wish I could speak to you just one more time and say, "How are you, Thambi?" And I wish I could hear you answer, "I'm good, Akka.” Those simple words will forever hold a special place in my heart. You were taken from us far too soon, Thambi. But you will never be forgotten. Your memory, your kindness, your achievements and the love you gave to your family and those around you will live on. Until we meet again, dear Thambi, rest peacefully.’ With Love always ❤️

When I think of you, the first thing I remember is your big smile Aathan. You were always such a fun, easygoing person. You had a way of making things feel lighter, and being around you always felt easy. You were warm, welcoming, and happiest when family was together. That is how I will always remember you. Some of my favourite memories of you are from when we were kids. Our family trip to the Isle of Man, our time in Nice, and especially the memories from the Tooting house. Those were simple days, but they are some of the memories I treasure most. We were just kids, enjoying being together, never knowing that one day we would look back on those moments with so much love. The last time I saw you was when we came to the UK. I am so grateful that I got to see you then, and even more grateful that my children got to meet their Periyappa. You welcomed them with that same warmth and ease that I remember from growing up. And then there was your cooking! I was genuinely impressed by how well you could cook, especially for someone who, back in the day, didn't even seem interested in washing his own dishes! It's a small memory, but those are the things that stay with us and make us smile. I think that is what I will miss most, the little things. Your smile. Your easygoing nature. Your sense of fun. Your music. The way you made family gatherings feel like home. I hope your children will grow up knowing the person you were beyond photographs and stories. A fun-loving, easygoing man with a big smile, who loved his family and made people feel welcome. You left behind so many memories, and those memories will keep bringing you back to us in the years to come. Family gatherings and our UK trips will never quite be the same, but we will keep talking about you, laughing about the memories, and carrying you with us. You will always be a part of my childhood, our family, and my heart. Until we meet again. Your Maachal, Danu ❤️🕊️

I was incredibly saddened to hear of Sujan’s unexpected passing. Although it has been several years since we worked together at HCL, I remember him with great warmth and affection. Sujan was a wonderful asset to the company; dedicated, talented and someone who always performed to the very highest standard. More importantly, he was genuinely liked and respected by those who worked with him, particularly the staff he supported and led. He made a lasting impression on so many people, myself included, and I feel very fortunate to have known and worked alongside him. My heartfelt thoughts are with his family, friends and everyone whose life he touched. He will be remembered with great fondness.

I remember Sujan very fondly. He was a man who always had a smile on his face, was very good company as well as a pleasure to work with. Everyone who worked with Sujan spoke very highly of him both professionally and personally. He always found time to help those around him. If I may share that Sujan had a habit of being late for work, only ever by a few minutes, yet he would always arrive with cheeky smile so you could never be mad at him. Sujan was a very good man which is what mattered above anything else. It was so sad to hear the news of Sujan passing and my thoughts are with his family.

RAHULAN Kathir - Cousin

We met when you were only 21, but from the moment we met in 2006 we clicked instantly. You became my favourite cousin and you told me I was your hero. We were inseparable after. We went to Nice, Cannes, Monte Carlo. I came back to London from USA nine times in 20 years to spend time with you. What adventures we had!!! What laughter. Non stop laughter. Even 3 hours before you passed you texted me asking me to join you in India. Two days earlier you called me and told me you are coming to visit me in Los Angeles in October. I told you I would video call you on Sunday to plan. But life took you away from me so cruelly two nights later. A huge piece of me died with you. I will never be the same. In the 21 years I knew you, I never heard you say a single bad word. Never heard you get angry at anybody. All we did was laugh. I will think of you in all my actions. Who can I call at 3am to tell about the adventure I just had that night, now that you are gone? You were my cousin but you became like a blood brother and best friend all rolled into one. I have shed more tears than I ever thought my body was capable of producing. I have the memories. But I don’t have you anymore. And I will never be the same. Rest in piece Machaann.

I have worked with Sujan for 15 years from company to company. I have never met a more honourable and kindhearted man. I adored him and will miss him tremendously. Over the years we became friends rather than just colleagues… I will still send a little prayer to him whenever I need some work advice… God always takes the best people x

Admin and Teachers

A Memory of Mr. Vijay was a father whose kindness shaped every part of his life. As a devoted parent to his three children, Veera, Aarvi, and Ahana. he carried a deep belief that Tamil culture, language, and values should live strongly in the next generation. He wanted his children to grow up not only with love, but with identity, heritage, and pride in who they are. His support for the Tamil Kalvikoodam in High Wycombe was truly remarkable. Whenever help was needed, Vijay was there quietly, sincerely, and wholeheartedly. His presence gave strength to organisers and the parents. He stood behind every programme, every event, every effort to keep Tamil education alive in the community. Vijay believed that culture is not just taught; it is lived. Through his actions, he showed how important it is to preserve our traditions, celebrate our language, and pass on our values to our children. His encouragement uplifted the school, and his dedication inspired everyone around him. His contributions will continue to live on through the smiles of Veera, Aarvi, and Ahana at Tamil Kalvikoodam in High Wycombe.

Sujan, was a perfect gentleman, from the first day I met him, he made me feel part of the team, we worked together for 8 years and it was a blast, from getting drunk, shouting Alan!! Across the office floor, playing games when we worked over the Christmas period together, to bribing me with money to get his files through quicker and then denied he ever said it when it was time to pay up! Sujan was one of those gems you meet on your journey through life, the type you never forget and will always miss and ask why you? You had a whole life ahead of you. I will always miss you my friend.

Dear Sujan, it's been a long time my friend and I'm sorry to write this message to you in such circumstances. I will always remember your wonderful, happy personality. You were a very good friend to me and equally a very good pool player , I never once won a match against you but sometimes you would let me get close! Your memory will last forever and I hope that your family in time find peace with your absence. You will never be forgotten!

I had the pleasure of meeting Sujan several years ago through work and we were in close communication over the last year. Sujan was always there to offer his support with any difficulties, personal or professional. He was always just one phone call away and ready to help. His passing has been a huge shock to the industry and to me personally. As well as being widely respected for his enormous business talent, Sujan was known for being a family man. I very much admired how fond Sujan was of his children, they were his priority and at the core of all his decision making. I will cherish the fond memories with Sujan, and I extend my condolences to his loved ones, especially his children in this difficult time. Rest in peace, Sujan.

I first got to know Sujanthan when we were at Ernest Bevin Secondary School, and from the beginning he had a way of making people feel comfortable around him. He was a genuinely good friend, and there are so many little memories of him that still make me smile. One thing I remember him always saying was that he had never had a little brother to fight with. At the time, I didn’t quite understand what he meant… but I soon realised what he really meant was that I was going to be the one getting hit! 😂 Then there was sting ball. Sujanthan was definitely not the type to hit someone hard with the ball, but when the ball came anywhere near him, he had a completely different approach. He would scream so loudly or throw himself onto the floor before the ball had even reached him! 😂 We couldn’t stop laughing whenever we played with him. Another memory that will never leave me is the day we went to Burnt Wood Park. Elango decided to jump from what I remember being a pretty tall shed or structure. When he landed, he hurt or fractured his leg and couldn’t even speak. He was desperately waving at all of us, trying to tell everyone “Don’t jump!” Of course, nobody understood the message or perhaps nobody was listening! One by one, everyone jumped, and somehow they all ended up hurting or fracturing a leg. Then came Sujanthan. After he landed on the grass, he put on the bravest face he could and tried to walk as if absolutely nothing had happened… until he eventually passed out! 😂 It was obviously a serious moment, but when you think back to that day and everyone who was there, it is one of those unforgettable memories that will always make us smile. Those are the memories that stay with you. Beyond all the jokes and memories, Sujanthan was also incredibly talented with his singing and music. His passion for music was an inspiration to me personally, and I will always remember and admire that talent. There is also something I feel I need to say, and something I deeply regret. I am sorry I wasn’t there. Whenever you called to meet or tried to organise a gathering, I wasn’t there. It was never anything personal. Life changed, people changed, and as the years went by, finding the time to get everyone together became harder and harder. But I regret not making that time. I regret not being able to sit down with you, my dear friend, and share a few more laughs and memories. The sad thing is that all the misunderstandings, disagreements and little issues between us friends no longer matter. None of those things matter anymore. Because you always wanted all of us to come together. You were the one trying to hold everyone together. So, in your memory, I hope we can finally do what you always wanted. We will make the time. We will get together, at least once a month, sit down, laugh about the old days, tell the stories you were part of, and create new memories while remembering you. You may no longer be here to bring us all together, but perhaps your memory will. Thank you for being my friend, Sujanthan. Thank you for the laughter, the memories, the music and simply for being you. Rest peacefully, my dear friend. You will be missed more than words can say, but you will never be forgotten. ❤️
